I would strongly recommend this product to friends. The quality is good and the price is fair.
I purchased the LGDVT418 Theatre System to be High definition ready and to comply with the new plasma television as well.
The price range was very competitive compare to similar systems on the market.The manual was very easy to understand. The remote controller are very easy to use. The design is impressive as far as looks is concern. The sound quality is overall very good. The variety of removable media would definitely be a plus point. The virtual surround sound is excellent compared to my old televisions without a home theatre system. The remote is easy to navigate.The overall system is easy to set up by some one with a bit of knowledge in connecting the electronic systems.
I would have like to have more information on setting up and using the different outputs . The upright speaker should be a bit more weighty or have the option of wall mounting it with brackets. The speaker connection should consist of some form of plug system and not the clamp on wiring which come loose on occasions. I find my self regularly fixing problems with the connections. I find that i loose my last setting when i switch of and think this should be look at.The manufacturer should allow for user storage on the remote.
