The Bottom Line:
Don't get it is a primary set. Fine for secondary location and use.
I've got this TV for the bedroom and so far like it except for the few drawbacks (which you can kind off expect with a less than famous brand.
Good things first. Picture quality is quite satisfying. With an aspect ratio 4:3 and resolution of 800X600, it won't take you to the next decade in terms of resolution, but as a secondary set it will do. It has simulated Surround Sound, which I was not particularly fond of. It sounds a bit weird. Otherwise, sound is quite OK as well. And the price, which was a deciding factor for me. Finally, the reason I've chose it over a few other slightly pricier models, it has a VESA wall mount.
Now, the things I didn't like. Manual is a joke. To figure out how to remove the stand to expose the wall mount, I had to call their customer service. BTW, to do that, you have to first pull the back the plastic on the stand where it says AOC. Go figure. Remote is plain bad-bad-bad. I wish to look in the eyes of the designer who did the layout.
Viewing angle for the LCD is not-so-great, but I don't care much about it, as I'm only watching it from one position. Finally, PiP It works ONLY with PC hookup. I.e. you can play videogames and watch TV, but you can't watch DVD and PiP TV or vise versa. A bit of a strange approach.
