Radio Shack had this TV on sale not too long ago. Figured I'd replace my perfectly good working 13" Panasonic tube TV with an HDTV for my kitchen.
I did'nt purchase the extended warranty plan and went with the shack's standard 30/90 day warranty-big mistake.
When the TV did work, the image was absolutley breathtaking. The picture in 720p mode looked like it would jump out and touch you.
The sound was OK, fine for a kitchen and secondary use.
I used the HDMI, component video and antenna inputs and all gave good performance.
That's where it ends.
About 2 months after purchasing this it started acting up. The picture and sound would go away and there would just be a gray screen.
It would happen now and then but it would come back until just as it reached Radio Shack's 90 day limit.
I should have took it back but I was under the impression it was the cable box and not the TV.
Then it died totally.
Total waste of money and a tribute to the saying: you get what you pay for.
And, my old trusty Panasonic is right back where it is.
