Unreliable
Pros
Great idea. Has all the functions I want in one package.
Cons
So unreliable that it is worthless.
Recommended it?
No
The Bottom Line:
Don't buy it. Microsoft software is buggy as always with that company, and the hardware is unreliable. count on it breaking.
If this phone worked, I'd love it. Schedule is great, the handwriting recognition is fun, sound quality is good, spreadsheet is nice. Unfortunately, it is a piece of junk.
The first one, the Speaker crackled and it dropped calls a lot. The "sort" function didn't work on the task program.
People I called complain of loud beeping in their ear randomly. So ATT sent me a replacement phone. Be warned that ATT only sends you a refurbished phone under warranty, not another new phone. Don't know how that's legal, but I digress. The phone overheated and didnt charge the battery. so much for quality assurance at the refurb factory.
They sent me a third phone. Right out of the box the scroll wheel didnt work right, it made the cursor jump around. Also, the alarms and reminders didn't work.
The fourth phone worked fine out of the box for a couple months, but it just died. First bluetooth quit working. I powered it down and when I turned the power back on, nothing worked. I can't even turn it off unless I take out the battery.
Another aggravation is with microsoft. If you want to backup your schedule, you have to already own outlook. I dont use outlook. the software comes with a trial version. I'm not sure what happens when the trial runs out because none of their phones lasted long enough for me to find out.
