Great Sound from 75 watts a channel
I have owned this receiver for about two weeks now and so far I am very impressed. I was replacing a JVC receiver because the dialog in movies was always choppy and hard to hear so you would turn up the volume and then the sound effects would be to loud. Impressive/heavy/complicated
I did a lot of research, this appears to be the best value for the money. $699 at Circuit City. Clear powerful sound, features you must have!
Wow! Ever since I saw this big boy, I couldn't say no. I even listened to sales personnel at other stores try to sell me on other brands. Even spent hours reading up and doing my homework.
I ended up with the 635 for some simple reasons.

Nice design, reliability is horrid!
I purchased this unit as a refurbished unit to replace a failed prior HK AVR unit. It has fabulous styling, the likes of which cannot be easily found at any price point.
