Great Computer for the Money

Pros Inexpensive. Fast enough for light to moderate use.
Cons Speakers have no place for headphones.
Recommended it? Yes
The Bottom Line:  This is a great computer for someone who is just getting started or does not need alot of super speed.  Overall it is worth the money.
I will tell you up front that I am by no means a computer whiz.  The model I had before this Acer T180 left a lot to be desired.  So at my wife's urging I finally headed for the local Wal-Mart in search of a new PC.  Being in the dark when it comes to modern gadgets, I headed straight for some assistance.  The kind lady explained to me that this was the model that she had just purchased fro her own use.  That was good enough for me so I load it up.  I rushed home, opened the box and began the setup.  This went pretty fast and simple, and in about an hour I was up and running.  I immediately fell in love with the LCD monitor and how plain the graphics were.  It has 1.00 GB of RAM which does great for what I use it for.  I do a lot of internet surfing and a little Ebaying so I don't require a super computer.  It comes with Windows Vista Home Basic and I really like Vista over the other Windows products that I've had in the past.  The processor is an AMD Athlon 64 Processor 3800+ 2.40 GHz.  One thing that I didn't like was that there is no place to plug headphones into the speakers.  I know that's not a big deal, but I like to listen to music and sometimes that can be a problem.  Overall I would say that this is a good computer for the price (around $500).  It certainly works well for myself and to small kids who like to play simple onlinegames.  I would think this model may be a little slow if you are big into online games or other things that would require more speed and memory.
