Very user-friendly, good camera!
Pros
good sound reception, very easy to use, good price
Cons
slight shutter lag, updated models now available
Recommended it?
Yes
It's as simple as pressing a button, no matter what you're trying to do. As long as the camera can do it, it's easy! Of course, you might get spoiled by how easy it is and then get frustrated when you actually have to navigate through a menu or two to change something, but despite how difficult that might seem compared to everything else, it's actually quite simple compared to other cameras I've seen.
My only dislike -- and it's a minor one -- occurs when taking still photos. I press the button, the screen freezes, and the image is taken half-a-second later while the screen is still frozen. This almost always means the image I was trying to capture is slightly off-center, but I've learned to compensate for it.
High-quality images, great sound reception, good video, excellent price! It may not be top-of-the-line, but it's a very good camera, especially for someone who's never had a digital camera before.
But, of course, there are newer Aiptek models available now.
