The price of the Aiwa MD HX30 was really right. It came free with a book case stereo system. The sound is incredible. I always blow people away with "Sunny Came Home." It shows off the incredible bass and clear acoustics. The size is terrific. It slips into any pocket and the remote does not have to be used, but is very cool.
While the sound is great and the unit always gets noticed by people, the short battery life is very frustrating. A full charge lasts about 75 minutes. On a recent 6 hour flight to Los Angles, I had to ration the music. This player would be perfect if a longer-life battery could be used. This player would be great for someone looking for an ultra lightweight unit to wear while walking.
