Aiwa AWPZP5 Audio Shelf System

its been a long time coming. i've been looking for a well-priced music system that integrates all elements of my home theatre setup into a sleek, cost-effective solution. I use the usb connectivity to connect it to my powerbook and the analog out is connected to an inexpensive, standard home theater switch box. I have my minidisc player, my playstation and my television connected via the switch box. one of my favorite features is pc mixing, allowing you to listen to your pc music while also listening to another audio source, such as your television... through the same speakers!!

overall it has everything you expect, cdr/cdrw/mp3 compatibilty w/ id3 tagging. it also features a slot loading cd mechanism. its gives you 2 additional usb ports as well, it acts like a usb hub. you can plug mice, hard drives or anything else usb into it. the remote is fairly basic but encompasses many useful features. please note, only volume can be controlled though this mini system when using the pc feature. you must change songs, albums, artists... etc through the pc itself. very impressive value.
