The Bottom Line: Delivers smooth, quality filled sound with all the good looks. I would definitely buy another product from Aiwa. They are better than some other high priced companies.

I got this Stereo for $102 and $13 shipping charge from ttadirect.com Although, a refurbished item, the quality of the sound had me in amazement right from start. I listened to several stereo system but stuff like this would usually compare somewhere near the $180+ segment. The controls are a bit irky though. But once you got accustomed, you really begin to appreciate the sound. Also, the auxiliary input is a great feature if you want to add something like a MD, MP3 Player or simply connect your laptop. This is of course a standard feature of every aiwa system.

I got this player connected with 6 1/2" Pioneer 1664 speakers and the sound rocks! Although it is not quite as one coming from a sub, I like them and the fact that mine's an old car (a 88 honda accord), I think I got the best for money without paying a lot of moolah. With all the features and a cool display, this system is well worth. If you want a CD-changer, get the CDC-X517M with an aiwa M Series Changer. I suppose that is a pretty good combination for money
