Aiwa CR-LD101

Pros Small size, good sound.
Cons Can't think of any.
Recommended it? Yes
The Bottom Line:  Nice and tiny, perfect to carry around, and would compliment a USB flash RAM Mp3 player for portable entertainment.
I needed a small radio, that had digital tuning, and this one seemed to be the right size.

It comes with earbuds, and simple directions.
It's clip is more made for a breast pocket, vs. a belt clip, and is light enough for the task.

The earbuds that come with it sound good, but they tend to hurt my ears after a while. There is a loudness feature that works good for FM, but tends to muddle the sound in AM.

The radio itself features 45 presets total, divided for FM1, FM2, and AM. The radio can program itself, but it does it for all of the presets, thus one can't isolate the auto preset to like, FM2. But when traveling, it can be a nice feature.

Listed in the directions, the single AAA battery can last 10 hours using FM, and 16 hours using AM.

Also a nice feature, is each button produces a beep in the headset, and when using the presets, will use different tones and beeps to let you know what preset you are on.

Another feature is the auto off feature, which is on as a default, but can be disabled. The radio will shut off in 90 minutes if no buttons are pressed, and will alert the user with beep tones 5 seconds before shutting off if aborting it is desired.

All in all, I like the radio, for it's small size, but big sound.
