Awesome Little System
Pros
High Quality Sound, plenty of power and lots of extra features
Cons
Kind of pricey
Recommended it?
Yes
The Bottom Line:
Wonderful rich sound plenty of bells and whistles but a little on the expensive side if your going to put it in your bedroom.
I listened to quite a few of the mini systems out there and they fell short in one area or another and I always kept looking for something better. I seen this unit at Best Buy and right away liked the eye catching features. The store was smart enough to have a CD already loaded in so I selected a track and gave it a listen to. Wow! I could not believe the rich powerful sound coming from this little thing.Aiwa really went all out with this one. When I started to fine tune the sound it just kept getting better. The BBE button enhanced the music even more and along with the SUPER T-BASS control I knew I had to have this model. The built in graphic equalizer has preset modes or you can program 4 different settings that you can custom tailor to suit your listening taste. The graphics are cool and even has a mode where the display keeps spinning numbers around like a slot machine. You can even dim the display if it's too bright for you at night(I really like this feature). The unit does not lack for power 155x2 plus Surround mode 33x2 rear and 34 watts center speaker. Believe me you wont lack for power. Even has a optic and subwoofer output for even more extreme sound. I would not be afraid to use this in my living room as my main stereo it sounds that good but I bought it for my bedroom home theater and it does a fantastic job.My daughter loves the built in karaoke on the unit and uses it all the time. The only other thing I can critique besides price would be the noisy disc shuffling system but my Sony 5 disc home stereo is the same way so I know it's not just Aiwa.
