Aiwa has always been my choice for home stereo systems. All of their products deliver amazing sound, many options, and a decent price. The MSX-NTD9 is the system I recently purchased (I had another Aiwa system before that). I must say I was quite impressed with the sound and features.

The NSX-NTD9 has a total of 5 speakers, 2 main units, and 3 smaller ones. The 2 main ones deliver most of the sound, producing clear and as loud as you like music. With the Dolby Pro-Logic System and amazing bass, you'll think you are listening to a much more expensive complete home audio system. Even though traditionally tapes lack the sound quality that CDs have, you will barely notice it with this system. The 3 auxiliary speakers can be placed anywhere around the room to help amplify the sound and its range. The system comes with extra long wires connecting to the speakers to allow you this complete freedom of speaker placement.

The endless list of functions will shock and amaze you. Offering a 5 disc CD changer, you won't have to worry about switching out CDs all the time. The dual tape players rewind quickly and can record from any source. Of course it has the AM/FM radio, and a very entertaining karaoke mode. Also if you feel you are not getting everything from your television sound, then just connect the TV to the NSX-NTD9 and you can hear the TV audio from your stereo speakers.

My only complaint about the system is that sometimes the smaller functions and options access. For example to set the timer or alarm you must have the stereo turned off, find your remote, punch in some buttons, then do some other complicated functions. Not too big of a complaint, just annoying from time to time. So, I would recommend this and other Aiwa systems for everyone looking for some great sound.
