Great cd player
Pros
great player, great sound
Cons
loud when it's working
Recommended it?
Yes
The Bottom Line:
great player, loud and noisy work
The unit works ok and does everything a CD changer should do. The audio output quality into a pre amp or receiver is pretty good and cassette recordings are really easy to make with an external tape deck.
I use this in my home office and fed the output from the headphone jack into my 3-piece Aiwa Soundworks self-powered sub/satellite speaker system. It's integrated into my comp power strip and remains on at all times when I'm in the office. I control it through the remote control. I've lived with it for 3 months, now and I like it very much. It suits my purpose nicely.
The only complaints are kinda minor and do not really affect the performance of the unit. The unit is rather hearable, mechanically - somewhat clunky sounding. It would be good if it were smoother and quieter during disc changer and drawer closing/opening operations. And, it seems to have a slight lag or delay during each selection or loading. It seems to take a long time to read the disc before going into play. Again, these are pretty minor items and do not bother me.
