Pros 10 hours of MP3 music on one CD!
Cons There is a limit of 512 tracks or files on one CD.

Now you can listen to your MP3 files or regular music CDs while on the go. With this player you are not limited to just your MP3 files or just your CD music, now you can have both. This player will play MP3 music files on both CDR and CDRW discs.

You can also play recorded .wav files with... Read full review »

Pros Sturdy, cheap, feature-filled.
Cons Burns through batteries, but all these things do.
Recommended it? Yes

When I went to Japan for the first time this year, one of the things I knew I definitely wanted to buy was a portable MP3 player. My car has no working stereo to speak of, and although it plays cassettes, cassettes are dead to everyone on the planet. (Unless, of course, you're the American Music... Read full review »

If you're a college student like me you probably have a large MP3 collection. While having a vast music library on your hard drive is great, it would be really cool if you could listen to your music anywhere you go. If you want to be able to do this, then get the Aiwa XP-MP3 player. You'll be glad... Read full review »

Take your MP3s on the road!

Pros Good navigation, good (not perfect) compatibility
Cons Problems with bitrates over 256 kbps, no remote
Recommended it? Yes

If you want to play MP3 files "on the road", you currently have three options: MP3-CD players, players with memory cards, and players with integrated hard drives. The memory card players (such as the original Rio) have a relatively small capacity, are expensive and you have to connect them to your... Read full review »

Aiwa XP-MP3 is one from advanced brandname CD/MP3-players. It is equipped with the graphics display, reads CD-R and CD-RW disks, plus has buffer memory for 10 seconds.

First, that I marked, it have modern design. The disposition of buttons of a player reminds inexpensive musical centers... Read full review »

I bought this CD player online for 199.99. It ended up being around 220.00 after tax and shipping. I bought this because I wanted to put my mp3 cd burner to use but I also wanted a player that would tag my cd's and know the names.

Pros cheap and reliable cd mp3 player
Cons average battery life, squeaking sounds caused by volume control knob

This is my second cd-mp3 player after the Rio Volt 90, which was skipping discs too much. This Aiwa is much better, especially at a price I paid - much below $100.
It has a good LCD display with no stupid dancers like on the Rio. It has well pcaed ergonomic controls, and the overall design is... Read full review »
