Aiwa XP-V70 Personal CD Player

I am a runner, and one day I finally got sick of listening to horrible sounded tapes as I run. I knew I needed a CD player that not only has a high anti-shock, but was also very durable.

I found this in the Aiwa XP-V70. It's 40 second shock protection prevents it from skipping when I run, and even though it has sometimes dropped to the ground, the only marks are a few subtle scratches.

The V70 also looks very sleek, and has many other great features. You can switch between not only no shock protection and 40 second, but also 10 seconds. Instead of many CD players, who issue a battery warning 5 seconds before it runs out, the V70 has a 3-step system to show how much battery is left- very helpful. Speaking of battery, the V70 lasts around 21 hours.

Another favorite feature of mine is the backlighting of the screen. A friend of mine was complaining how hard it was to change the selections on her CD player in the dark. You should've seen the look on her face as I pulled out my V70, pressed a button, and the backlighting turned on.

All in all, the V70 is one of the better portable CD players on the market today. Search around on the 'net, and you can get yourself a great deal.
