Yes
The portable CD player I had before this one was a memorex. I needed a new one and I chose this Aiwa model. I thought it looked cool. One thing I looked for in purchasing a portable CD player was that it need to have a radio on it. Most CD players don't. This one and a couple of Sony's were the only ones I saw in the store. I am not a fan of any Sony product because everything Sony that I have had has broken. One thing about this CD player that I don't like is that the volume does not go up loud enough for me. But other than that it is a great player. The bass is awesome and has great sound quality. It has features like random play, programing play and a radio!! This would be an excellent gift for someone who travels a lot. It was very inexpensive too. I bought mine for about eighty dollars. That is pretty cheap compared to some of the Sony models.
