The Perfect CD Player For People On The Go

I have had some great experiences with this CD player. The price, quality of sound, and the features are all factors influencing my purchase of this CD player, and I am thoroughly impressed.
First of all, the price. I went into Best Buy, Target and Circuit City wanting the best CD player I could get after my old one was stolen. The Sony G-Protection line looked great, very thin and stylish, running at about $90 bucks. That wasn't too bad, 'til I found this player that cost $80. I figured, "Why not save $10 bucks and get a CD player that has even better features (which I will touch on later)?"
The sound quality is on par or above other high-end CD players. The DSL (Dynamic Super Linear Bass, I think) is effective in increasing bass frequencies, and the headphones that come with the unit are unique in design and have great sound quality for in-the-ear headphones (usually notorious for poor sound.) The 48-second, top-of-the-line skip protection dubbed EASS worked perfectly, and the fact that you can reduce the buffer to 12 seconds to conserve batteries is a nice addition.
The one thing that set me over the top about buying this CD player was the fact that it is CD-RW compatible, while NO Sony CD players are.(Apparently, this would conflict with their marketing the Sony MiniDisc systems.)
This CD player also has an AM/FM tuner that works quite well. There are 30 station presets so you can keep all the stations in your area programmed in.
This CD player is also quite durable, as it has survived many drops onto pavement and bike crashes (some which involved me landing directly on it). This asset can be hard to find in many portable electronic devices these days.
Overall, I bought this player for the features and CD-RW compatibility. The price, however, was a nice surprise. This is why I feel this product deserves my highest rating of five stars.
