Excellent car CD/MP3/Stereo for the money
Pros
Cheap, looks good, plays MP3s, decent sound
Cons
Buttons are too small/cheesy, display is too bright at night, unit feels hot
Recommended it?
Yes
I bought this unit at Fry's Electronics when it was on sale for $59.95 (in store price - no mail-in rebate required!) and wasn't expecting much. So far, it has exceeded my expectations. I installed it in my car and used the stock speakers. The sound is decent, it plays all MP3s except for very low bitrate ones (24kpbs and below), and you can't beat the price. The complaints I have are minor ones. If you need a car mp3/cd/stereo, and are on a tight budget, then I would highly recommend this unit.
Pros:
Cheap, looks good, plays MP3s, decent sound, detachable face, comes with remote
Cons: Buttons are too small and feel cheap, labels on the buttons are too small, display is too bright at night and not dimmable, unit feels hot after running awhile, wish it had a volume control knob instead of up/down buttons
