Certainly worth the money
We purchased ours on ebay about a year ago for $750...I believe it's now available on ebay for around $400-500. Not bad at all.

Great TV lousy remote control
Purchased at RC Willey for about $720. Easy to set up. Picture quality is excellent and does not fall of when at an angle. Audio is only OK with a slight mains hum when on station. TV died after 15 months
My Akai LCT2701TD 27" LCD/DVD combo TV stopped working after 15 months from purchasing from Costco. It seemed like a great deal at the time...tho screen quality was not the best but acceptable. For the short time that it lasted, the great value quickly was negated. Read full review »

Great picture for the price and includes a DVD player
purchased the lcd tv at costco back in january 2006. i am absolutely thrilled with it and completely satisfied.
i would buy it again, for the price i paid. i paid $799 plus tax with a coupon sale.

Horrible
Bought from Costco when it first came out - paid the ridiculous sum of $600 to find out that you can only purchase an Akai wall mount (over $400) for it.
