disappointing receiver

Cheap. Clean sounds. Great quality.

No EQ!!!! No DSP!!! No sound configuration!!! Flat-sounding when used with an amp.

I got this receiver because it was cheap ($260 at crutchfield) and had 4volts preamp outs. I didn't think too much of EQ's and DSP's. Boy was I wrong. The receiver was a pain in the butt to tune -- mainly because all you can do is adjust the treb and bass. The unit sounds nice in low and moderate volume, but when you try to crank it up the music just sounded flat and harsh. Don't get this unit if you have an amp and nice speakers.
