Amazing beyond words.
Pros
Clear sound. Wide volume range. Great EQ. Great features.
Cons
Difficult to work EQ at first. Difficult first ten minutes.
Recommended it?
Yes
I have a '04 Elantra.
I previously put in aftermarket speakers from Polk Audio.
I then put in the 9833, with the KCA-420i iPod adapter.
I have *never* been this happy with an electronics upgrade, ever. The sound is crystal clear with CDs or the iPod playing. The interface looks really complicated, but took me about ten minutes to have down 95% of perfect. The volume is excellent, probably the loudest (while clear) I've ever heard without a separate amplifier. And the sound is audible and clear almost all the way down, as well; I'm a big fan of clarity, not noise, and this does the job admirably.
My only problem is that I have to take the faceplate with me; I park in the ghetto occasionally, and don't want this to walk off.
