I bought this receiver several months ago. Up until then I have owned a pioneer, Blaupunkt, and Clarion Pro Audio receivers. I will never go back. When I first saw the price ($400+) I balked, but after doing my research and realizing what a quality product I was buying, it was a no-brainer. This receiver has never failed me yet, is easy to use, has plenty of power, and more options then I will probably ever use (probably). I was nervous about the "new" MP3 technology in car stereo's but without warrant, my first MP3 CD worked like a charm, was easy to navigate and never skipped. Alpine backs up all these features (more than I could write here) with its outstanding reputation for quality. This receiver has it all.
