I've had Alpine head units in the past and I was looking forward to getting this one up and running. 2 weeks into getting everything hooked up the cd player begins failing to eject cd's until finally the last cd I had in there is stuck. I thought there might be an issue with my head unit so i decided to take a look around the web just to see if there was not a problem with the unit and sure enough i found about 5 people who had similar experiences (go to google and run a search under "cda-9853" and "stuck").
Overall it's a great unit as far as power and features but failing to eject a cd is a pretty big deal.
