Alpine CDA-9853 Car CD / MP3 Player

I cannot say enough about this deck. I love it. I have owned nothiong but Alpine for the last 14 years, and this deck lives up to the Alpine legend. I did extensive shopping before purchasing and this Alpine deck seemed to have EVERYTHING I was looking for. I wanted time correction and extensive EQ functions, something most other decks did not have (they would have one or the other), but the Alpine had both. I really do like the glide touch feature. I have read other reviews where some people hate it, but I think it's cool and VERY easy to use. True, this deck is very complicated. It has EXTENSIVE menu functions with menus within menus. YOU MUST READ THE OWNERS MANUAL BEFORE OPERATING IT. But once you are used to it (as I am) you can quickly get to any function you want instantly. While driving, I am able to adjust the time correction, X-over, and EQ, NO PROBLEM. It's just a matter of getting used to the controls. I also think the styling is very nice. It has a nice bright blue display that can display both artist and song title on two different lines. I like the way it DOES NOT have dancing dolphins and other over-the-top graphics (it DOES NOT look like the Las Vegas strip) as this seems like the trend these days. Oh, and the sound quality is perfect.
