Alpine CDA-9853 Car CD / MP3 Player

I went through TWO CDA-9853's in the span of one month. I have always gone with Alpine and love their stuff, for the most part. And everything was awesome with this deck until it stopped wanting to eject my CD's. It was tempermental at first- I had to press the Open button a couple of times and it would eventually open. But it finally got to the point, about a month later, where it wouldn't eject a CD at all. In fact, one of my CD's is still in the unit that I did an exchange on. The second 9853 I got started doing the same thing. This one didn't swallow one of my CD's but I didn't want to take any chances. So I opted to upgrade to the CDA-9855. And I have had NO issues at all. They are both EXCELLENT decks but be very cautious if you go with the 9853. Make sure you get an extended warranty or a 1 or 2 year replacement guarantee if you can. It'll probably come in handy...
