Alpine CDA-9883 Car CD / MP3 Player

Alpine continues to be a fine product. I was looking for a good head unit to replace my stock Mercury radio which was very sub par. No power and no looks, and NO CD!!! I always loved Alpine, and I know they make a superb product. This 50 watts by 4 delivers. I wanted a Detachable Face Plate for security, and a unit that is MP3 ready. I can also hook up my iPod if I wanted to with an optional Alpine cable. There are a lot of controls like the basic fader, balance, bass, treble and it is also steering wheel control adaptable for my factory steering wheel buttons. If I get a cell call, this has a built-in audio mute and audio interrupt and built in blue tooth. I am a little older now, so I probably will not add 1000 watts of added power and amps to my car, but if I wanted to, I have all the options to do so, such as an amplifier remote turn on output and three 3 volt pre outputs for direct connection to the outboard amps. The pretty blue illumination matches my blue leather interior. Alpine stands behind their product, so If I have a problem, the warranty will handle it, and if it lives past the warranty, it probably will outlast the car. Alpine continues to be a fine product. Highly recommend to all.
