Cons
Faceplate can sometimes be difficult to get attached.
Recommended it?
Yes
I bought this on Ebay a month ago, have always been a fan of Alpine units. I bought the unit because I wanted a good quality MP-3 player to replace the Alpine I sold with my old car. I cant stand swapping CD's out constantly.
The player is easy to use, has nice built in features such as high pass crossover (allows you to filter out low frequency bass that could harm small speakers) bass response range for sub-woofer, easy to read LED display, CD text display has been improved over earlier models, the unit has a good amount of power to drive 4 channels- Ive got 4 6X8 Infinity reference hooked to the receiver now and it handles them fine. The sound quality is excellent.
The thing I love most about this unit is the ease of use. The only thing I dont really care for is how the faceplate attaches. Its really hard to line up sometimes.
Overall-I would highly recommend this unit for anyone that wants a good quality MP-3 player that wont break the bank.
