A great CD deck that survived two thefts in 48 hours

A rock solid performer with security that worked for me!
I have owned my Alpine CDM-7834E deck for over a year. My wife bought it for me as a birthday gift and the entire family have gained many hours of enjoyment listening to music through it. I am very happy with its performance.
Our previous car was stolen twice within 48 hours with this deck on board and it is the only thing I salvaged after the car was recovered (including the CD left in the deck). Detachable face security worked for me!
I am currently installing it into our new car along with Alpine 3-way S series 6x9" speakers in the rear.
The only feature I think was really missing from this product was the ability to change the backlight color from green to, say, orange to suit other dashboard illumination color schemes.
