Big name, big price...Is it worth it?

Alpine - Quality Name, Quality Product
The Alpine CD Deck 7833 is a great buy for a person with a budget that needs nice sound and long lasting performance. The controls are very easy to use so one does not need to wrestle through a long instruction guide. Just play with it a bit and you will become an expert in no time.

A great CD deck that survived two thefts in 48 hours
I have owned my Alpine CDM-7834E deck for over a year. My wife bought it for me as a birthday gift and the entire family have gained many hours of enjoyment listening to music through it. I am very happy with its performance.

Don't Buy This
I bought this CD player 2 years ago and it served me well for a year and a half. About 6 months ago, it decided not to play my cds anymore. Where can I find a user manual for this receiver?
First of all, I just bought a vehicle that has this Alpine Receiver 7834 in it.
I am pleased with the sound and quality, but very disappointed in the button placement (cluttered looking).

Alpine Good quality products
I own an Alpine CD player model CD-7834. It is install in my 1993 F-150 pickup. The Ford stock speakers are pretty good, but the original headunit was only a AM/FM with a tape deck.
