Alpine Stereo Delivers
Pros
Clear sound, easy to use.
Cons
Bass not too hot
Recommended it?
Yes
After experiencing a Toshiba CD Player in my car for the previous 3 years, I was ready for a step up. And I found that in this affordable Alpine stereo. For three hundred bucks, I bought and had it installed. It has everything I really need (me being the guy who doesn't need the huge bass, just nice clear sounds). My speakers aren't the greatest, so the bass gets distorted if there's too much. But aside from that, it's an awesome stereo. The controls are very easy and clear to use. The CD's rarely if ever skip after encountering a bump in the road. One handy feature that my previous stereo didn't have was that if you turn off the car in the middle of a song on the CD player, it'll return to the same part when you put it back on, instead of starting all over. The 18 presets allow you to program all the stations you need (and the ones you don't need as well). All in all, just a very good product for the price.
