The Bottom Line:
Good sound for a good price, you can't go wrong unless you want the best of the best( then prepare your wallet).
The altec lansing ACS 33 give me a very good sound for mp3's, and games. You should listen to it, when the guitars begin exploding with wild melodies and the counterstrike machineguns fire on my opponents:) It is so much better than speakers without a subwoofer.
The bass is really good, not the most powerful in the world, but still very capable. For $50 you really get a nice tool that will serve you really well.
The only drawback here is the lack of output for headphones.
If you want to be noisy without annoying your family or neighbors, you must plug the headphones directly on your video card, which can be cumbersome.
