The Bottom Line:
Altec Lansing gives you quality and it's worth the money. Why buy other brands when you can have the best with the same price?
Altec Lansing is the Mercedes-Benz of speakers... it looks good, sounds good and it's worth the money. Before these i had the Logitech Z-340, i got it for the same price. After trying out both of them the Altec Lansing comes out on top for cleaner and crisper sound quality. It's also not just about the quality of the sound being put out but the looks of these speakers are great. The reason these speakers are better than the Logitech is because Altech Lansing has a higher watt output on the sattelites which creates a cleaner and crsiper mid and top range sound, the bass is also clean and gives a lot of thump, the total is 50 watt, 30 for the sub and 10 for each of the sattelites.
As for the Logitech, it puts out 33 watts in total, and therefore it is weaker and the sattelites dont sound good. They have an 8 inch sub but the quality of it is not good. I think Logitech should stick with making keyboards and mouse for the computer and let ALtec Lansing make the speakers because they're the best.
