excellent budget priced system!!!

The Bottom Line:
just cant beet the sound quality for the price!! in 6 years i havent been able to blow them up
i have had these for about 6 years now i bought them new for around $40
i purchased them to hook up to my alarm clock to blast myself out of bed... it worked
i have also used them with my Ipod. they have been mainly hooked up to my computer.
they sound just as good and better than alot of setups i have heard in the electronics stores
i went looking for a little better looking setup last month but after hearing everything in the $100 price range. i decided to keep these!!
i don't know if you can buy these new anymore but if you can find them used you won't be disappointed.
they get plenty loud. i actually had the cops called on me when i was home alone at my apartment listening to music on the computer. Oops.
the only downsides i have noticed are
the cord between the right and left speaker is about 4-6 feet. i like longer cords personally just to be able to hide them better.
there is a faint hum or hissing sound not very loud though
also sub adjustment is on the back of the sub.
overall a great sounding powered sub setup that can be hooked up to just about anything and sound good!!
and beats everything in its price range
