Hi There,
Well it was about October when I moved from Ontario to Oklahoma, and I flew in so that meant that my DJ'ing Sound Equip had to stay behind, including speakers, well I was here for about 6 months and listening to music on my computer from a set of headphones, nice pair and all but just not the same as a set of good speakers.
February 27 rolls around (my birthday) and my fiance's parents decided to get me a set of Altec Lansing ACS45.2 speakers, and WOW, I put the Sub under my desk and the mid's on top of my monitor, well little did I know that I would eventually have to tape down the ones on my monitor because the rumble of the sub would rattle them off my desk.
They are loud, clear, and have a great bass, I mean they aren't like my DJ equip but they aren't supposed to be like them, for a computer user that wants some SERIOUS sound without taking up much room, and for the price. . . These are the ones to get. There is nothing that I do with my computer that I would need any more power or performance for.
They are easy to hook up, idiot proof, they run off of 110V and have no humm when not in use like other speakers I have used. As a DJ that knows his sound equipment, these little things have impressed me enough to recommend them to anybody that just wants some bass pounding sound or crystal clear sound.
