Crank Up Those Altec 495s

Good enough to make the floor shake
When I play a game that uses the powerful subwoofer, the quality is so great that I can FEEL it. With two speakers and the monster subwoofer I get stereo quality sound. My Remanufactured ACS-495's
Im a BIG gamer and an avid (perhaps OVERLY avid i have 12,000 songs) collector of mp3's. I also just bought a Sony DVD player and MAN!! do DVD sound and look great.

Did you feel that?
My God, these speakers rock. The are able to produce sound at an amazing depth and quality, and are perfect for gamers or musicians. In a small office, you can't stand to be in the same room if these things are turned up more than bout 4 notches (out of 10).

A Sweet Sounding Deal
When I bought my new Dell PC I needed to get speakers that gave me a good sweet sound and did not break my budget. The Boston Acoustics were very nice, but Altec had a large variety of speakers that were in my price range. I bought the Altec 495's and realized that I had received a great deal.

Overview
Altec Lansing is a name that's been around in audio for a long time. With a spotless history, anything with the Altec Lansing name on it is definitely worth a try. With these high expectations, and even higher hopes, I gave the 495 computer speakers a try...and I was not disappointed...

Altec ACS 495 = Great Package
These ACS 495's came with the computer my family purchased back in 1997. I am quite pleased with these speakers still, even though they are 3 years old their quality has not been greatly surpassed by the competition of other PC Speakers.
