ACS56, and why you might want some
Pros
Powerful, small, not expensive, good quality
Cons
if the speakers are too close, they hiss
Recommended it?
Yes
The Bottom Line:
Good setup. Good price. Worth the money.
Ill be honest with you, I had no intention of buying these speakers.
I was in BestBuy, desperately needing some computer speakers. I always had my reciever hooked up to my computer, but as that was no longer possible, I needed some speakers bad.
Well, they had at least 20 different models on display. And for the price, the ACS 56 sounded the best. This saved me the money I was about to put down on some Cambridge Soundworks speakers.
The digital in is great. Coupled with my Live!, I dont need the analog connections, which are great for the times I watch DVD through my computer on the TV, and then I can use the reciever with the analog outs.
The rear channel speakers do release a slight hiss, and it gets a little annoying when they are too close. But other than that, good stuff.
These speakers thump.
