Altec Lansing ACS56 4.1 Speakers

When I first started looking into speakers for my PC, I went straight to the surround sound subwoofer combos, those old 2 piece no subwoofer PC speakers weren't gonna cut it for me anymore! I wanted bass! First I went straight to Comp USA, they had 20 or so models set up for demo, I pressed alot of the buttons, and found out that not only did these have the best bass(no the Klipsch weren't on demo!), but the interface for changing bass and treble was awesome, you pressed a button, turned a knob, voila!

The price on these were also awesome, they were cheap($120 bucks compared to the $300 Cambridge they had. Before these, I was used to the $20 bucks a pair cheesy 2 piece speakers, and for all that I was getting here, the price was nothing. Plus, my home stereo already has Klipsch shelf speakers!

The bass in these things kick! If your used to those "old" speakers, these thing will blow you out of the water! When I turn the bass all the way up, my windows start rattling! I still have yet to get the big boy digital sound card it suggests, but mine does fine for now, although I do experience some crackling every once in a while(I know, my sound cards crap) these still have the kick in the bass.

Now if you really want to go all out on your computer set-up, but don't want to spend the hundreds of dollars to get the Klipsch super duper bass dolby theatre speakers(hehe), then these are great for the price!
