I was in the market for some new speakers for my new iMacDV, for the price of around $80 ( I haggled with mac mall), I received some awesome little boxes with great sound!

The Altec Lansing ACS65i has the following specs:
Driver (per satellite): One 3 inch full range driver
* Driver (subwoofer): One 6.5 inch long throw woofer
* Frequency Response: 30Hz ? 20kHz
* Satellite Power: 13 Watts
* Subwoofer Power: 20 Watts
* Input Impedence: >10k ohms
* S/N Ratio: >70dB
* Power Supply Included
* UL/CUL/CE approved

These little speakers and subwoofer are attractive, and really sound great. I don't have a home stereo system, this set up suits me just fine for the amount of time I spend listening to music in my home. It delivers high quality audio for music, games and PC entertainment. The powered wood subwoofer extends the low frequency range to add realism and bass response and is adjustable.

This high quality audio system is designed to be compatible with the iMac computer. It is ideal for use with other personal computers and many home gaming systems.

I would reccomend the system to anyone who doesn't want to spend a fortune but wants excellent sounds, wants to only spend 60 seconds connecting to the computer for setup, and like the cool color! The sound is quality, has enough umph to make my walls vibrate and yet still sounds excellent! Plus the subwoofer makes a great foot rest!
