I highly recommend it to anyone. Best quality sound and highest volume I've ever heard from a PC!
I bought a 900Mhz Athlon system from FIACom Inc, and this speaker/subwoofer set was included. Installation was a snap, everything was color coded, and I didn't even bother with the instructions.
Combined with the power of a Soundblaster Live, these things really rock! I was awestruck by the amount of volume these little things can generate! Good quality sound as well!
Don't let the size of the subwoofer fool you either, it really thumps... I have it set in a corner, and you can feel it vibrate the whole house, even from upstairs!
I have never owned a better stereo system than my current PC. I even got a visit from a Lawton Police Officer, saying that there were complaints about the noise, and would I please turn my 'stereo' down. He didn't believe me when I told him I didn't own a 'stereo' that was my computer, and I was just testing the limits of my equipment. He actually came in to look, and when he saw I was telling the truth, all he could do was scratch his head and say, "Well, I'll be go ta hell..." (We have some real winners in Lawton)
You get these speakers, you won't be let down. I doubt that they are THE best speakers on the market, but they're REALLY close to the top! I highly recommend them to ANYONE! (Be careful on that volume knob though... Can get you in hot water with the neighbors!)
