This model is designed specifically for having surround sound without the pain of wiring several different speakers together. This mission was accomplished, and what a great job. All you have to do is put the speakers where you want them, plug them together, plug them into your tv/computer, or what may have you, and you're off. It's that easy. The sound you hear is incredible and you'll wonder why people pay $400 for getting the same results as your for 1/4 the cost. Altec Lansing did a remarkable job in creating this set-top box speaker system. You can't go wrong.
