Altec Lansing Series 100 Amplified Speaker System model 120
Pros
CHEAP! Easy to install! Durable! Very attractive
Cons
None for me!
Recommended it?
Yes
The Bottom Line:
I have been very pleased with these speakers! I would recommend them to anyone that just wants a good, sturdy sound system for their computer.
Good, inexpensive speakers!
Are you a technophile that desires the latest, greatest equipment? Do you want to hear every nuance in the tunes you crave? Then these speakers are not for you!
Do you just want good sound for your computer system so you can listen to some tunes while you work and occasionally jam down when your favorite is on? Then try these out!
I use these speakers around the clock while working on the computer. Sometimes I am listening to online streaming audio, other times to my media library. They do the job just fine for me. I usually listen to them at a low volume, but occasionally I crank them up so I can listen in another room. The sound carries well and is not distorted.
I like the feature of putting the headphone jack on the front of the speakers so it is easy to plug in if I don't want to bother the rest of the household or if my children are doing their schoolwork. It makes it easy for them to listen with headphones and avoid distractions.
These speakers just plug in and work. That's the way I like my equipment. LOL
I have had these speakers over a year and they are still going strong!
