Great surround sound speakers for you computer
Pros
Wonderful sound, compact, remote control included
Cons
expensive
Recommended it?
Yes
The Bottom Line:
This is an excellent surround sound system for your computer. If you enjoy digital entertainment over your computer then you should be pleased this systems capabilities.
These speakers turned my computer into a wonderful entertainment system. I listen to all of my digital music and Dolby Digital DVDs over these speakers.
These speakers may be expensive but they are well worth it.
They have excellent sound and provide a wonderful surround sound environment. The length of the attached speaker cords easily provides surround sound to a 10x10 bedroom or den. When surround sound isn't desired the rear speakers can be attached to the front speakers to provide multi-directional front speakers.
The digital input (in connection with a sound card and software DVD program capable of digital output and Dolby Digital surround) allows me to watch my DVDs in Dolby digital 4.0 surround sound. Even though there are only four speakers and a subwoofer, (when properly placed) they provide perfect digital and directional sound for watching movies. The lack of a center speaker isn't missed since the front speakers do an excellent job simulating one.
The subwoofer performs splendidly, shaking the house and providing excellent bass for movie special effects and while listening to music.
