These sound much better than most speakers costing twice as much!
Pros
Outstanding sound quality! Unbeatable value. Separate bass & treble, on/off volume controls on the satellite.

The Bottom Line:
Highly recommended! Don't make a decision without comparing this system with at least 3 others in sound quality, range & power (volume). You won't be disappointed in these!
Before buying this system, I listened to at least a dozen other speakers for less than $100 (including Yamaha, Cambridge, Logitech, etc.) and there was absolutely no comparison in frequency range, overall sound quality, bass response and sheer volume from a 3 piece system. As an acoustic musician, I am very critical of sound quality & I won't settle for muddy or tinny sound. This unique configuration creates an excellent range for almost every genre of music with the possible exception of rap or heavy metal. Some other reviews on this product had complained about the poor range or low volume. As with any speaker, you are limited to the quality of the PC's sound card and the quality & type of media player you use. I have on-board sound & I use the Yamaha media player that came bundled with my Yamaha CDR/RW drive. The player has a customizable 16-band equalizer, which makes an already great system, sound awesome. For around $35, you'll be hard-pressed to beat these speakers!
