Amphion Mediaworks M-270 7 in. Portable DVD Player

I purchased two of these dvd's ($249.00 ea)from Target in Dec 03 as gifts for my two daughters. Three months later, neither one was performing. You would have to close the screen and open it continuously when it would quit to get it to start again. We returned them to AMW. AMW sent us two more units. These units also did not perform. We returned them and they sent us two more. (this is a total of 6 now) These units did not perform either. Same problems we experienced with the first ones. AMW would be willing to send me two more units, however, they told me there would be no recourse with these units. No warranty. What would be the chance of these units even working? I am the proud owner of two AMW DVDs worth $500.00 that DO NOT WORK! I would not recommend purchasing an AMW DVD.
