Great buy for the price
For Christmas one year ago, my parents purchased the Amphion Mediaworks M-280 Portable DVD Player with Screen for me to enjoy. I had been using a Sony watchman for a while, but wanted something a little newer and something that could play DVD movies.
The set contains the system itself, which measures about 1 in. with the battery, the battery pack, audio/video input and output cords, ac/dc charger and a slim-design remote control. If and when you purchase this, think about buying a carrying case - it helps to hold all of the pieces safely and securely while moving about.
The playback is wonderful. It lasts about seven hours on a single charge, and has two small stereo speakers to amplify the sound( although I do recommend buying earphones - it is hard to hear if you are in a car or on a plane). It can play CD's,DVDs and has MP3 capability. One nice feature is being able to turn the player upside down - yes, upside down, and view it. If you buy the optional accessory to hook it in you car, you can actually rotate the picture to show upside down(or right side up) when the unit is turned the opposite way.
This is a great product to have when you travel. It is also nice to buy for teens, because it doubles as not only a DVD player, but CD's as well. This is something that will serve your loved ones with entertainment for a lifetime.
