Pros Big Screen, nice design, easy to set-up.
Cons Quality isn't as good as other projection televisons.
Recommended it? Yes

I like buying things that look good, work well, and give you the best bang for your buck. I like to think that Apex is an up and coming manufacturer for electronics in the low budget domain. The Apex GB5108 51 inch projection television is a really nice set for the price.

Pros It's good looking, for a very large DOORSTOP.
Cons No one will repair it, because APEX is such a pain to deal with.

I purchased my TV in October of 2003. It worked well for a year and 3 months. Thats it, now all I get is a flickering blue screen. Told buy Apex to take it to repair shop. Pros durability, great pictures

I really love my tv. Mine has lasted me 6 years and still going strong. The main thing I dont like is i had to get a tv stand to stand beside it to put my vcr and dvd player as it has speakers for a stand and you cant put it on a stand. .. and I paid $1700.00 ugh. Read full review »

Cons Broke 3 days after purchase. Very bad customer service.

I bought the TV on 7/5/2004, broke 3 days later, screen flicked and remote doesn't work.
We called the Apex's customer server, after 35 minutes, only voice box available.

I purchased this television in September 2003. It came from Rex's with a 2 year parts and labor warranty. It was picked up for repair on May 10,2004.
