Happy eMac driver!

Pros Strong, clean appearance, nice screen, Superdrive DVD great, minimal cord tangle.

Cons iMovie SOMEtimes wonky. Laser mouse sometimes twitchy. Built-in speakers weak.

Recommended it? Yes

Digital video interest made me go Mac last month. Not so hard to switch from Windows PC's. VERY happy so far! The eMac just fits me perfect right right now; a mighty fine stepping stone. Apple Store folks in Charlotte, NC very professional. Guy that hauled it to my car even refused a tip. Apple is a good buying experience, great machine for the money! Extra stand not really necessary if you have a desk & chair at proper height. Feels solid on my desk. Bulk & depth of machine a non-issue because you mostly only look at it from the smooth & flat front. Keyboard & mouse sleek & trim.
