The Bottom Line:
A great overall product.
I don't use CD players since they are bulky, fragile, and cumbersome. And before the dawn of IPODS and other mp3 players, the only other portable music devices (besides CD players) were walkmans. Since elementary school, I have been using walkmans because they are cheap and highly portable. However, after a while, I became displeased with walkmans since I think they are difficult to use and not user-friendly, and I decided to look into something else.
Consequently, when I finally saved enough money to purchase an Ipod, I was very excited. I was excited because it meant that I no longer had to worry about about buying CDs or cassetes for my CD player or walkman. Instead, I could simply downing an MP3 file from off the web, and all my favorite songs are right there on my fingertips.
I have owned an IPOD for at least one year, and throughout that time, I have been thoroughly impressed with all the features that this product offers. Not only do I get all my favorite songs at the touch of a button, but I never have to worrry about rewinding my favorite song so that I can hear it again. There are also many other cool features built into my IPOD such as games, a clock (which is helpful if I loose my watch), timers, and a place for photograph storage, and I love the fact that the battery lasts for at least a whole day and that downloading songs does not take that long.
My IPOD is also very durable, and although it has taken great falls, it nonetheless remains in tact. I highly recommend that others consider purchasing an IPOD. As another poster said, it is truly a music lover's dream. Unlike walkmens and CD players, the IPOD makes listening to your favorite songs an enjoyable, painless, and convenient activity.
