Apple Power Macintosh G4 (M7892LL/A) Mac Desktop

The Power Macintosh G4 is one of the best towers that have been made in the history of Apple. Even though today it is considered to be historic, with all of the modern technology and upgrades today, the Power Macintosh is still a contender going into the year 2010. (i happen to have a graphite sawtooth version of it.) It's sleek, glossy white sides, it's nice graphite color on the front, top, bottom and back, and it's TRANSPARENT handles make it quite amazing even compared to today's cinema display (early 2010) with Snow Leopard.

It is an amazing computer, and it is still quite a powerhouse compared to today's Mac computers if you take full advantage of the maximum specs the computer allows, and if you take advantage of today's technology. I really enjoy the experience with this computer, and the fact that if i can run Leopard, then i can run new and modern apps released by Apple. The graphics card can run into some Kernel Panics if you try to replace it while you have an active OS installed, but on the bright side, the video card provides awesome graphics. The system NEVER freezes up or locks up, and it is very VERY responsive. Even if you are running adobe photoshop, it will still be fast like crazy. This is amazingly an 8 year old computer that can do almost anything a modern Mac computer can do. The original monitor i had, had lines in the screen, so i sold it and got a nice dell 23" monitor for it. The Mac makes the monitor look great with it's sharpness and quality. I got the Power Macintosh G4, because it was my most favorite out of all of the Power Macs and the Mac Pro line of computers. I now use it for photo editing software, some online games, and internet access. I have iWork '06 installed on it, and i am planning to install iLife '09 (or if they come out with iLife 2010 or '10, i will get that.) I really recommend this fine piece of work to anyone who wants a Mac, or basically anyone.
